Dr. Zane attended the University of Texas at Austin and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Plan II Honors program. She received her medical training from the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHealth) in San Antonio and served as a transitional intern at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Zane completed a Preventive Medicine Residency with a focus on cancer prevention at the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus. She holds a Master in Public Health degree with a concentration in Epidemiology and Global Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. Dr. Zane is a board-certified specialist in Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Beyond cancer prevention, Dr. Z’s medical interests encompass general health and well-being, immunology, genetics, the human biome, vaccination science and integrative medicine.

Dr. Zane joined the Kadison Medical Group in August of 2022. A long-time seasonal resident of Aspen, she splits time between Austin, Texas and Aspen, Colorado. When in Colorado, she enjoys being outdoors while hiking, biking and skiing.
