Dr Kadison listened to me when other doctors were quick to dismiss my symptoms, minimize my concerns, and blame my complaints on stress. Her respect for me as a patient was amazing. She plowed through, ordered tests and referred me to a team at Anschutz. Her dedication saved my life. I was diagnosed with a chronic heart condition that other doctors insisted was stress. I underwent numerous surgeries and procedures that saved my life. There is no better doctor than Dr. Kadison.

I was hit by a horse-trailer on I-70 driving back to Aspen. Dr. Kadison got me in promptly the next morning before her regular appointment times. Her quickness in identifying my concussion coupled with a non-judgmental understanding that I wanted to go a more holistic route instead of taking prescription pain killers allowed me to act fast with her at-home recommendations and receive doctor-approved physical therapy. I was back in action and skiing in 2 weeks!

Last spring when I was skiing, I was knocked down by another skier. I had tremendous pain in my thumb and in my wrist. I was concerned that something was broken. I called Dr. Kadison and she put me in touch with an orthopedic surgeon who was waiting for me when I arrived at Aspen Valley Hospital. Dr. Kadison was extremely instrumental in getting me expedited MRI scans so that I could have a prompt diagnosis and treatment for my injuries. If it were not for her intervention, I would have waited days for a specialist to have an opening to see me. Dr. Kadison takes the Hippocratic oath seriously! She cares for her patients and will go the extra mike to make sure that they get everything that they need. In my opinion, she is absolutely the best.

Several years ago, I flew out to Aspen on Memorial Day weekend and noticed problems with my vision as soon as I got off the plane. I contacted Dr. Kadison right away and she suspected that I might have a retinal detachment. She immediately got in touch with a retina specialist in Grand Junction who called me and instructed me to drive right over. Dr. Kadison’s suspicions proved to be correct and I had surgery the next morning. If it weren’t for her quick intervention, I would likely have lost all of the vision in that eye. Dr. Kadison is a caring, extremely intelligent diagnostician. She is my hero!
